I have a 72 Dino GT. My dash has the space for three switches/rheostats on the left, under the gauge. There are currently two rheostats and a blank hole. Anyone know what three switches go in those locations, and in what order?

Also - recently a judge told me that there should only be one sticker on my Ansa exhaust pipes - on the outside. I thought two on each side- one outboard, and one inboard was correct? Anyone know what is actually the correct configuration?

Left switch is the instrument's background light illumination level knob.
Center is the radio antenna up/down switch.
Right position is not a switch but a warning indicator, isn't it?

The judge is incorrect about the Ansa stickers. There should be one on the outside
and one inside each set of two pipes. Total of 4 stickers.

Wow - what great help I received in answering my question about the switches on my Dino dash. I now know that one of the holes in my dash is for a "GEN" generator light. I have found actual light (thanks to Norma at McCann - a great lady), but can't find the "GEN" aluminum label for the light.

My usual sources (Shaughnessy, McCann) have not worked. Anyone have any ideas on where to get the label?

I thought that the two holes to the left of the steering column represented wiper speed adjustment and instrument light intensity. I do not have a third. The radio antenna on mine is to the right of the ignition/key switch.

On my 72 coupe, the left most (US spec - so lhd) is the generator light and the right side is the antenna.

On my 74 model's, the right side is is a generator light, the middle is a potentiometer (I am guessing for windshiel wipers (???)), and the far left side is the antenna up/down

don't know if this is much help...seems the middles knob creates the real question...

    Unbelievable, the amount of variations...
On my 72 coupe (Dec.) there are only two holes in the dashboard on the left side. They are used as Scott.Mac describes, to the left is the instrument light rheostat and to the right is the antenna up/down switch. There is no generator warning light with an aluminum label! The parts manual also shows only two holes in that location on Tav. 112.
Why would anybody need a warning light if you have an ammeter in the dash? My guess is that they were forced to add the "idiot light" to meet some sort of government regulation.
But why was it not done in my car? Did the earlier coupes not have the generator warning light?
