Dino DIY - Summer/winter heater flow shutoff valve

    Many people who drive their Dino don't have A/C or their Dino cuts through the wind so well that they don't get enough cabin airflow. The result is that on hot days Dinos getting hot inside and they desire a way to cut out anything that might add heat to the passenger area. On earlier series Ferrari the factory included a summer/winter shutoff valve that stopped all hot water from getting to the cabin ventilation heater cores. The same can be mounted on the Dino and the first one I ever saw was on 05984, Jack May's Dino

    Jack got it right as the shutoff location should be upstream from the hot coolant flowing into the heater core. I've included TAV 32, item 2 which is the hot coolant hose from the engine. It then "T"'s off of the central tunnel tubes to the heaters at the hose labelled item 41.
    The valves are readily found for purchase these days and shown in the second photo

    Good tip, that actually makes a lot of sense, cause ones legs tend to heat up.
