Hi everyone You guys have been so helpfull, I thought I might as well ask about door stops as well as have not found anything on my own. The cars owner says he saw something along the lines of a chain on someones car once, and wondered if there was a ( kit ) to deal with this issue. he already had a gust of wind catch his door once and put a nice dent and chip in it where it contacted the front fender. So is there anything that someone has come up with or do you just have to be carfull. Darryl
The door stop is built into the hinge. Basically the hinge only rotates so far, then portions of the hinge hit and the one attached to the door stops rotating. My car had some synthetic fabric strips that were screwed into the door and door post, but having that extra material in there put the door under tension and it would tend to pop open. I removed them because they didn't really work anyway. If your door opens too far take it to a body guy who is familiar with Dinos and have him add some metal to the hinge so it won't rotate as far. Or you could probably epoxy some metal in there yourself.
