This car is definetely Verde Pino Mettallizatto. I have seen the car in person. Verde Mugello was not even an in range colour for the Dinos. Alex Leventhal Dino #10704 365BB #18265
That photo is John Giordanengo's Pinot Verde Dino at the 2003 Italian Concours in Seattle. The car is truly pinot verde, although lighting and image colors may make it look different. http://www.italianconcours.com/Files/2003gallery/pages/2003ICDE218.htm A very nice trailer queen that wins many awards.
Pinot, Mugello and Zeltwig can all look similar in pics and totally different in person. Beautiful Dino nonetheless.
as much as i love dinos and love dark green cars. i still can't fall in love with the dark green dino's. they just don't look right to me.
Dinos look gorgeous no matter what, but green just doesn't do it for me. I prefer them in brighter colors, like yellow for example. It still looks great though.
Pino verde looks spectacular, IMHO. I wish my 246GTS was something other than RED................. Reminds me of the the dinner that my wife and had in Brunate at a small restaurant on a sheer cliff about 3000 feet above Lake Como ........ I had roast burro and ..................... all of a sudden, every in the restaurant started chanting "PINO! PINO! PINO! PINO!" and the local winemaker ambled/stumbled on in.............. Mark
Agreed. I've met John G several times, although that usually coincides with a car event that his Pinot Verde is winning, and it is in spectacular condition. I'm a bit on an "anti-red Ferrari kick" right now as I look around and have found the silver to charcoal gray very attractive to my eye.
