    need to remove the sunroof for some work. Is it possible to take out the sunroof without having to remove the headliner ? any suggestions greatly appreciated. I know it is a fair amount of work and I see the headliner is glued in many places and am very worried about the reinstall. thanks again

    You don't need to remove the main headliner, the headliner on the sliding panel is only held in position at the front and rear, they always sag down because of this.

    There is a tab near each corner of the sunroof, secured by 2 screws, they hold the plastic sliders that slide in the rails on each side of the opening in the roof. Remove those tabs and the sunroof panel lifts straight up and out. Once you have done it before it becomes a 5 minute job. There are several threads on the subject.
