    The suction cup gyzmos on the windshield roll shades of my Dino are shot. Anyone have a source or suitable substitute?

    Wasn't the same suction cup setup used on the early Daytona Spyders starting in 1971? What are those guys using now?

    My recollection is that the system didn't work that well even when it was new. The cup would let go and the shade would retract with a startling snap. Come to think of it, somewhere I have some spare suction cups that I got from Valentine 1. I wonder whether those could be adapted...

    Check McMaster-Carr. They have hundreds of varieties. Search their site for "suction cup." I do not know what yours looks like so I can't refer you to a part number, but they have hooks, etc.

    Were you able to replace your suction cups? And if so, where did you get them and are they working well?
