I need the throttle position micro switch and mounting bracket for a '74 GTS. Does anyone know of a source for these parts?

What "throttle position micro switch"? You make it sound like this is an injected car.
The Dino engine doesn't care where the throttle is, it just delivers what you tell it to through plain wire and springs...

It may end up that I put the switch on to make the system look correct but not actually have it function! We will see how it goes.

The idle advance cam actually works quite well.

The one on my car (well, ok Uro's car) was repaired using the guts from a Daytona. It's controlled by temperature and steps up the idle to about 1500 rpm when the car is cold. It drops down within a minute or two as you warm the car up, but it saves a lot of stalling and starting.

I found the parts for mine on ebay. Sometimes you just have to keep looking and looking.

I do have what you need. PM me so I can get it to you. But first we need a picture of your Dino posted here.

That is the microswitch for the R1/R2 points used on USA cars.

Is that Rosso Rubino? I really like the monochromatic look with the targa top painted body color. Fred

It is Rosso Cordoba - the paint needs a little work. Here is a photo of the interior.

I think that the 246 GTS used in a May, 1974 R&T comparison test (along with a 450 SL, a Corvette, a 911 Targa and a Jaguar Series III E-Type V-12 roadster) was also Rosso Cordoba. I fell in love with the color on the spot (and still have the magazine), but have never been fortunate enough to see it in person. My red Dino is Rosso Fiorano (not an official Dino color, although very similar to Rosso Bordeaux), and it has Bordeaux leather. It's a similar combination. Your GTS is very attractive. Thanks for the shots. Fred P.S.: Did you buy your car from Motorcar Gallery in FL? I remember seeing a similar car on their website a few years ago. It really got my attention. f

No, I bought it from Algar who got it from Ferrari of Washington for me. However, I do have records showing it was sold at some point by Motorcar Gallery. Most likely the same car.
