I’m looking for a modern, practical jack to carry in the car in case of emergency. I have a good floor jack for the garage. Any suggestions of a compact one that works well.
Obviously not looking for the original.
    Thanks

I carry a later model Ferrari scissors jack that comes in a nice leather carrier. Along with that I carry a long wrench so I don't use the lug wrench. Finally, I carry the threaded round bar that helps you locate the tire on the hub. Sorry I'm not sufficiently a Ferrari guy to tell you the model with which the jack would have come, and I'm not where I can take a picture of the jack and carrier.

Good luck finding what you want.

All of what Ken says, a good quality scissor jack 1.5 ton, the threaded bar is a must and available from superformance uk but can easily be made. I carry a block of wood that would sit under the chassis when its lifted for safety.

    last item but one.

I've had great experiences with the Dino 3000 Portable Car Jack. It's lightweight, reliable, and fits snugly in the trunk without taking up much space.
