A 206 column switch is different than a 246 and quite rare. I haven't see one available for ages.

    Sorry...Keith

Keith, could a 246 switch be used? I'm also wondering if there isn't a Fiat or Alfa switch that might do the trick.

Looks like a long haul to find one if only a 206 will work.

ROLO. IS yours broken, or missing? If broken, it can be repaired I'm sure.

If you're prepared to send it stateside Verell here can repair that for you.

He's here somewhere. Search thread for unobtainium supply, he'll pop up.

Aside from aesthetic differences, a 246 switch has arms angled at 9 and 3 whereas a 206/246-L are at a slightly different angle (more like 10 and 2).

If you can get yours fixed, that would be the way to go.

Won't fit in steering wheel hub. The 246 column switch is physically different than the 206, and the steering column hubs that house each are physically different. Bill at GT Car Parts renovates them.

There's a good chance I have a mold to replace the broken stalk end.

See this Fchat thread for pictures of some of my column switch repairs:

Can you post pictures of the broken end?

    I understand.
I'm very interested in seeking how this works out, it's an interesting approach.

Also, I"d greatly appreciate any pictures you might take of the 206 switch. I haven't seen one & would like to know which switch was used for it.

Agree w/ Keith and others that the (later that L-series) 246 switch assembly will NOT work, so do not buy one of these thinking that it will; you will be disappointed. If you have a nonworking assembly, it likely can be repaired. Mine was a mess when I got the car, but had it completely repaired and refurb'd through Lyle Tanner in Sacramento; expensive, but w/ no probs since.
