Did you know two black caps in each of our door jambs have it. Where else did the factory apply "Dino" logos to our cars? these pics are of a 1983 GTS Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I remember back when some people were put off by a Dino owner slapping a Ferrari badge on their car. This would have been interesting to debate at the time.
interesting they were carried over to such a late 308 considering all dinos stopped in 79. I as a gt4 owner, I learned anything with dino printed on it could become very valuable as the 206/246 guys become resource limited on parts! heck, i've seen original dino key chains go for 2k.
My 80 308 has 2 on the drivers door and one on the passenger side. Interesting! You learn something new everyday Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Hi, and thanks for showing me this thread. My ‘78 US carb 308 has a single Dino air vent as the center vent just below the windshield. Have been wondering how it ended up there, this thread helps explain. Image Unavailable, Please Login Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Further proof that if the GTB had come out in 1974 when it was intended, rather than being delayed on account of quality issues with the fiberglass, All V8 Ferraris might have been adorned with Dino badges to this day. One simple marketing decision changed history. This is why time machines are so dangerous!
