    Hi

I was wondering if anyone out there could email me a clear picture of the number plate light contact on the trunk of a 246.
I have something missing and can't figure it out I need to see a clear photo of the underside of the trunk lid and the switch on the rear panel. It would really help.

    Thanks

    Adam

what light applies depends on the series of Dino...it's totally different for early (L * M-series) than it is for E-series.

Hi thanks for the photos, yes I am looking at the contact plate on the trunk lid. I have the lower spring loaded pin. Just to clarify is the base plate that's screwed to the trunk lid plastic then the contact plate a plain washer?

Also on the photo you can see the top of the latch and the screws that retain the latch, I though the rear trim would have fitted more snug to the back panel ( to hide the latch)
Am I trying to hard to get this to look right ?

It seems many Dinos are different, here is 05082 with a bracket for its new batchboard

Thanks, I figured it out there was a metal plate screwed directly to the post on the trunk lid, the plate couldn't touch the pin I got in the trunk with a torch to look (I'm 6'2" so it was a tight squeeze)
I fitted a thick piece of Bakelite to the post and then mounted the plate, it's fairly tidy and the licence plate lights now work and don't blow the fuse.
I don't seen to have that plate on the rear panel I might look for tell tale marks to see if it used to exist.
