Hi Dan Its nice to see a Dino out blowing out the cobwebs on a track and it looks good too How did it go ?
I had read the earlier threads about wheels and tyres and also recently brought a set of the 16'' Superformance wheels and am looking at tyre choices now and wondered how you have been getting on with yours now that you have had time to give them a good work out.I am assuming you have had no problems with them catching on body work under extreme cornering ect but any feed back would be usefull. Thanks Danny

Looks so nice Dan, no understeer, no oversteer. Just point & shoot. I can't wait to drive mine. Never have. Soon....

The car handled beautifully. As Alberto says, very neutral. Unfortunately, I had some fuel starvation problems that prevented me from doing more that a few laps (and it was my first time on that track). I think that I have a 36 year build-up of crud in the fuel tank, and all the slushing around stirred it up. Time to have the tank cleaned out.

Very much a day of highs and lows. On the way home, something popped in the clutch mechanism and the pedal went to the floor, requiring a 75 mile tow. The cable is relatively new, though that's what it felt like. I have not looked at it yet.

The tire/wheel combination works extremely well. I have the Bridgestone Potenza RE760 Sport. Fronts are 205/55-16, rears 225/50-16. No interference problems whatsoever.

I do love the photo. David is very talented. Check out www.PixxByTango.com

Great shot, Dan! It illustrates perfectly that the Dino was born to corner. Fred

After reading your original post when you first talked about getting the wheels and your choice of tyre sizes everything pointed those as being the way to go but its always nice to know somebody else has already tried it and is happy with the result.Well hopefully you will sort out your fuel and clutch problems and be back on the road and track as soon as possible. Thanks again
