I am missing the phenolic disc in my PCV valve located in the air cleaner. I was going to get some phenolic sheet and make one but was wondering if a light aluminum washer would work as well. From my understanding the original disc was about 1mm thick and has about a 1/4" hole in the middle and disintegrates over time. The disc has to be light enough to lift up easily so maybe a thin aluminum washer would do the trick and last longer. Another thought was using a standard Fiat wire flame trap in the hose to accomplish the same thing and skip the disc altogether. Anyone dealt with this issue?

I got one on Ebay but their site says no longer available when I use their part number. Where did you see hundreds available?

I went there last year almost to the day and they had a bag with tons of them inside. This is hardly a high volume seller so I would be amazed to hear that they sold out. The issue is that they are in no way labelled and I am not sure they even know what the discs are used for. I'm sure if you call Russ and reference the eBay listing I showed that they will be able to dig them up. I hope this helps.

Go to your plumbing merchant and buy a small tap washer. It does the same thing and you should get at least 20 for a dollar!!

Just got a PVC valve disc from Ferrparts. Arrived in four pieces but not a problem. I just wanted it for size reference. No wonder many are missing this piece. They are fragile! I think an aluminum washer would be a better candidate and last forever as opposed to the original phenolic or whatever it is material.

The "dischetto" in the link is part Ner. 21061. In the catalog for the L series the correct part Ner. is 21080. Are the same ?.
Can you post the measures of the disc you received ?.

Look up item 110603393420 on Ebay for a picture of the disc.
