The right one was also used for early 308GT4's.

Middle one rounded corners with creme lining is appropriate for 206 246 L thru 1971 I believed. Unsure when the rounded corners and creme lining was replaced with square corners and orange silk lining.

    Any insight???

    Dang guys.

All I want is one lousy pouch, no books, for my '72.

You guys seem to have a surplus of supply.

Maybe we can work something out???

Paul Baber sells them for £500, at least according to his website.

So, that's about $938 at current exchange rates.

Honestly Tom, as you know, I have no clue what this stuff is worth, and am constantly amazed at what some of it goes for. But I guess Paul and Ebay are setting the market for these right now. The advantage of getting one from you is I know it's real, and it's gonna be correct.

I can trade you a US cylinder head (4,5,6) and a US Distributor even up. Head is in excellent shape, (no valves) distributor needs new guts, as I gutted it to fix the Euro spec distributor I bought. (No weights or points.)

    I have pix.

i have several pouches, but not a 72. i have never paid anywhere near $1k for one. having said that, wouldn't the 72 pouch be more common than a 73?

    Dunno.

    I'd think so.

Got a spare '73? Seems it's almost the same as the '72. Who's gonna know??

Only the 74 is really different, I think, based on this thread, maybe.

the only real difference between the 73 and the 74 is the box around the dino gold foil on the cover. 74 didn't have it neither did the 308gt4 pouches. however, the gt4 pouches has a suede like material.

I doubt Baber has one in stock, contact him

I will only sell literature on ebay anymore, or sell direct to Nunzio828

Advise if someone offers you the pouch you need for under 1200 BUY IT

    Tool kits are 2800 twice
    Tach cloths are 1200+ twice
    Daytona toll kits 5000 twice
    12 cylinder pouches are 2800+

    These comps have been repeated.
    Just an opinion

Nunzio828 is the one that hit the "Buy-it-now" price I had on that third pouch and a day later I had a bundle of hundred dollar bills showing up at my door in a Fed-Ex package.
His email address is similar to Ken's at Ferrari literature so I supposed he was doing it for re-sale but I didn't ask any questions.

Good idea, lock up the accessories.

When I bought my Dino nearly 15 years ago non of these items were in the deal and had "mysteriously" been missing since the one owner car had been turned over/sold to a dealer.
    Coincidence, I think not!

In any case I went after these things with a passion, even paying John Kennedy's seemingly high prices. Within a year I had spent over $8k on getting the car back to correct accesories, parts, upgrading ignition and other sundries.
It can NOT be stressed enough that a prospective buyer should find a car with these things included - it was very toug to find some of these items.

Note: that guy JK is crazy for Ferrari Dinos and would call me up to have me measure the length of the wheel bolts (not all on flares/chairs cars bolts are the same length), then have me record the turn indicator lens' Carello Numbers, record glass date, etc, etc, etc...

The middle pouch (rounded corners, front outside "DINO" in gold box surround, cream colored moire silk interior)
was bought from a previous original Dino owner in the PNW so the books were originally in a group, not a "made up" set.

Quite probably for a 1972 because:
    1) The Additional Instructions for the USA Version, p. 3 show the air pollution tag with the words "...regulations applicable to 1972 model year"
    2) The green sales and service agent book page 2 has a huge, red 1972 on it.

    Summary:
Pouch: rounded corners, front outside "DINO" in gold box surround, cream colored moire silk interior
    Contents:
    Spare Parts Catalog 68/72
Additional Instructions for the USA version 60/72
Operating, Service and Maintenance handbook 72/72
Organizzazione di vendita e assistenza 67/72

The left pouch (square corners, front outside "DINO" in gold box surround, brown colored moire silk interior)
was bought from Fred Repass who knows these varieties very well and sold it to me as a 1973 which seems true because:
    1) The Additional Instructions for the USA Version, p. 3 show the air pollution tag with the words "...regulations applicable to 1972 model year"
    2) The green sales and service agent book outside cover has 1973 on it.

    Summary:
Pouch: square corners, front outside "DINO" in gold box surround, brown colored moire silk interior
    Contents:
    Spare Parts Catalog 68/72
Additional Instructions for the USA version 1973 60/72
Operating, Service and Maintenance handbook 72/72
