    This year's June/July issue of "Esquire" features a piece on the 2013 Subaru BRZ. It starts with an encomium to the Dino 246 and then declares in a footnote that "...the 246 is emotional overload, a masterpiece in steel and glass, the epitome of everything a Ferrari ought to be. You drive one of these things, the experience consumes you. I didn't sleep right for weeks."

    Seems about right.

    I can't say mine has ever made me not sleep right, but it is the only car I have where I sometimes go sit in it in the garage as an escape from the hassles of life. It is just SO beautiful it sort of transports me and helps me clear my head. Sounds strange, I know, but true.

    Not strange at all. I've been known to do it myself on occasion! It beats an hour with a psychoanalyst, and it's free (after you buy the Dino, of course!)! Fred

    I must have a worse case of Dino pride...I can just go into the garage and just stare at Dino and a smile comes to my face. Mine has been with my mechanic for the last 5 weeks now so I'm having severe withdrawal issues...

    It's funny, I've had my GTS since 1984 and it's looks still stop me in my tracks once in a while. Truly a wonderful bit of automotive design.

    My two Dinos sit side-by-side in my garage, and when friends come over in warm weather, I pull a small table and two chairs into the garage for a beer and some car talk. I call it my "Cafe Dino," and it officially opened this past Sunday when an old friend stopped by for an afternoon visit. There's no cover charge, just a minimum (of two Dinos!). Fred
