As it reads TYPE, it is a sticker from UK, or not :)
    the rest, no idea.
    Which series is it for?

It's a type 1. I've have pulled out at least 50 grills and I've never seen any sticker. My guess is that it was replaced at some point. I enlarged it and the small amount you can read says Part Number and Description it reads GRILL. No Italian

    Thank you Alberto. Appreciated.

I think you’ll like this thing though, I’m going to list it, it’s def not aftermarket :) Image Unavailable, Please Login

thank you Jon. I wrongly assumed (with its patina and wear) it was an original piece. Glad I asked to clarify.

You are very welcome, the only catch nowadays, is that you have to make the nose fit the grille,
or, the other way around, except that there is no extra material. Tough.

    Cool Valve cover.
I have a few in silver, black and red. But, you knew that ...

What are your plans for this one? Care to pm?

    Regards, Alberto

It looks like a parts ID sticker applied in the stores department at say Maranello UK perhaps or other parts distributor. Looks genuine part to me but would suggest it was changed at some point in the cars history.

Ahh. Ok, that makes sense. It didn’t/doesn’t feel like a newer made piece (I’ve had both OE and aftermarket 330GTC grills, it was pretty easy to tell by feel as well as visually).

Little doubt its a genuine part fitted many many years ago, but doubt Ferrari would leave that label on the parts they used. All part of the history.

That label was applied to the part at Ferrari North America. The box next to "quantity" would have the 4 digit code to identify which dealer it was sold to.
The box to the left of "line no." would show the invoice number from FNA to the US dealer. I've been in the Ferrari (parts mainly) business since 1985,
seen thouands of those. The blue labels were used up to the mid to late 1980's then they were black.

That is definetly a part that was replaced at some point in the cars life.

Well Howard, with one year of experience repeated 37 times, I'm gonna have to say probably not, unless we're talking about wine!
