Went to visit my friend, he has a radiator manufacturing facility that his father started in the golden days when rads were not made out plastic and ally.

These are the header tanks that he whipped up in two days, to evaluate the possibilities.
I am submitting photos of the prototype header tanks, where it is obvious that one is smack
like the original, minus the lettering of course, which shall be addressed at a latter date.

The other is made out two standard halves brazed together, more generic in shape and thinner gage.

The original rad. was partially made out of iron sheetmetal, thus the huge weight, inefficiency and rust proneness. He mentioned that LADA rads were very alike.
    Yeah, Ferrari!

He can replicate the core to look exactly as the originals, with 12 fins x Square Inch.

The bung for the temp. fan switch, is not an issue, and possibly the air bleed might cause
some difficulties in procuring. We'll see.

    Regards, Alberto
