I am installing the rear quarter windows in my 246 and want to know what sealing piece fits the leading vertical edge of the glass if anyone has done this in the course of their restoration. It would be part #16 on Tav 111 in the parts book.

Can't help you with the window, but I'll ask my body shop guy on Tuesday.

MORE IMPORTANTLY, WHERE THE HELL DID YOU GET NOS US SPEC FRONT TURN SIGNAL ASSEMBLIES? I've been lloking for two lenses for better than a year now.

Sorry about the NOS turn signal assemblies in the photo. I was taking pictures of them for Ebay (starts tonight!) and inadvertently they ended up in my quarter window post! How did I accidently do that? I will be more carefull next time. :) I do need info on the seal for the leading edge though. I think it might be a generic sponge rubber section but am not sure.

Those turn signal assemblies are EXACTLY the same as the ones used on US spec (important) Alfa Spider front bumpers in the late 70's early 80's (before they went to the model with the black rear spoiler). I know these lights well because I restored an Alfa a while back. Sorry but I do not have any sources but you might want to try International Auto Parts. If they don't have it I'm sure they can steer you in the right direction. Good luck.

P.S. Ignore the pics on their website and call them to be sure.

IAP doesn't have them. Tried them, along with every other Alfa parts source I could find.

Everyone says the same thing. "Don't have them and they have not been availalable for years. No one is curently manufacturing them."

I even spoke to a couple of folks who make other replacement lenses and they didn't know where to go for them.

Maybe I'll just have to get them made and sell them to everyone who needs them. Time to GOOGLE up a manufacturer.
