    Back in 1958 I was an apprentice A&P, saw lots of cracks. Got my private pilot ticket later. Still read Aviation Week every issue. Know that if the wheel was a casting, I would never touch it. The spinnings are a different story and the specific details of the crack make a special case. I figure I have a few years to find a replacement set of wheels. You are right, they have given good service. Just have never found a look I like. There was a picture of a black Dino in Australia that had nice wheels but have never seen an ad. One of these days. Thanks for the concern.
