Thank you for each of the 48 responses to the recent Dino Owners Survey. I have now closed the survey and attached a summary of the results collected.

You may be aware that I'm now running a much broader survey, covering similar but not identical ground for all Ferrari Tipo. This would not have been possible without your help with the Dino Pilot, thank you again.

    The conclusions?

It's somewhat surprising that so many Dino buyers cars exceed their expectations, there's no evidence at all of the effect I was investigating (The Market for Lemons - bad cars are traded more often).

The really fascinating thing from a Dino market point of view is that nobody who bought a car that they thought was very good or better, got a vehicle that was worse than they expected. Whereas if the purchaser bought a car that they thought was average or worse prior to buying, there was just over a 1 in 4 chance it was somewhat worse than expected when they got it.

All kinds of variables and psychological explanations are possible of course, bit I'll leave that for others to argue about.

Now if anybody wants to swap a 550M for a RHD Dino in the UK.....
