I'm helping a friend clear some clutter from his restoration shop. He did a 246 Dino a few years ago and has a box with a few left over parts. Nothing major, just a set of used Koni shocks, some engine water pipes, some motor mounts and a brand new pair of suspension springs. He says the springs are for a 246 Dino (possibly for the front), but I'm not positive. He says that these springs were ordered as stock replacements, but the owner wanted a spring that provided a lowered ride height. The springs are 32.2cm (12.7") in free length and 7.6cm (3") inside diameter. Each spring has "DF\1657" engraved on the flat of the winding. I think the springs are black powder coated with no colored stripe, so probably aftermarket.

Does this description correspond with a front or rear 246 Dino spring?

    Thanks,
