Hello Everyone, I am replacing the top window seals(the ones the windows would contact when all the way up) on the on the targa top on my 73 Dino246 GTS. Any recommendations on what adhesives to use, also the new seals seem to be about 3/4 of an inch to long, anyone had any experience with this? Any help is appreciated, Thanks, Karl
Karl, not sure how typical my experience is, but I replaced all the window seals and rubber trims on my mondial. Maranello told me that most were oversize as the handmade nature of the cars meant that some tolerances meant a single length would not always fit every vehicle!! I had to trim some and ended up swapping a couple of others until they found a longer one in the storeroom. Given the Dino precedes, it too may have some hand made tolerances that dictate a longer strip! Sorry I can't help on adhesive. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
