    Yes, it does look familiar.

Since starting this search, a number of toolkits have emerged at a wide range of prices and in various stages of completeness. Once the process is complete, I'll post a summary of the findings.

Here's a question for the concours experts. Which scores more points: a scruffy jack in original paint, or an immaculate one that has been repainted?

No expert by a long way but a tough question and depends on who you ask.......

    oxford english dictionary:-

An exhibition or parade of vintage or classic motor vehicles in which prizes are awarded for those in the best or most original condition.

so, must be in the best (repainted) condition or most original (scruffy) condition..............I'm still confused.

Does "scruffy jack in original paint, driven over and crushed by Hummer" change the answer?

Or, how about "left in barn for 47 years, rusted inside so doesn't operate, but still a barn find" change the answer again?

Yes, but patience and effort seems to have won out in the end. Paul has now found what appears to be a full, original set at a good price. I won't say how much without his permission, but it was certainly worth the wait.

Price still seems a bit ambitious IMO.
