Freeman, if Rorkie will find enough clientele for his lovely conversion, or in the process thereof,
if that is the case, it ought to skew the market some, specially for the lower priced "driver cars"
    not to mention engines.

Hmmm, a long time ago, I spoke about putting a QV in a Dino, and was berated, told to buy a 'vette, and so on.
My, how times change...glad I have the engine though...and it will be put to good use.

    Regards, Alberto

    Alberto,

The drivers and project cars will have a unique value and desirability. They will be the ones we can dream with. Undoing a perfect restoration would be like remodeling a house that was just finished. I’m hoping that on Sunday I’ll see Kevin’s creation in person at our new “secret” C&C. I plan on driving my Dino.

You could have bought a McLaren 720 s for $330,000 U.S. and bought a mint dino to have best of both worlds and still had 400,000 in the bank!
I always thought the new 720s looked like a modern dino, that's why its in my garage, with a three year warranty.
Nice ambition though on the builders part.
Mission E will destroy it all once the cord reaches around the world....soon

For those where money is no object, it won’t be an “or” question. It will be an “and”. They will have a garage full of visceral experiences.

4cam , I agree but........Anyone under 45 really do not see a car as a making love experience.
    Not all but most.
I'm in my 50's , BOY do I love a heated seat and steering wheel and climate control AND I worked since 12 years old.
I never though even 10 years ago I would drive a paddle shift or want the other options in my car but....You get old and spoiled.
There will always be someone for that Dino but its such a small group, can he profit?
THERE IS NO ONE UNDER 40 THAT CARES.
Ive been in the insurance game for 40 years, kids under 30 don't even get a permit, its tooo much work!
Make any sense let alone any of them earning enough to pay for it?
IMHO, Buy a retro car don't build one you lose 80 cents on every dollar.
    Still like it though

The movement/trend in the Porsche air-cooled (Luftgekühlt, Rgruppe, Outlaws, Singer, Ruf etc), JDM (https://jdmlegends.com/) is very young and really growing. Custom Cafe style motorcycle shows/companies such as Revival etc are growing and have a mixed audience. I’m witnessing it here in SoCal. Not your traditional crowd.

Everyone still wants to be Steve McQueen even if they don’t know who he is!

You can park a Dino inside the glovebox of an F12 :)
