Right Tim, I remember many years ago, reading about the Puma and their intentions. They never hoped or tried to be other (a Ferrari) than what they were: which was a very cool looking sports car kit adaptable to very affordable drivetrains. Cheers, Hank
One of my first jobs out of high school (1971) was building VW dune buggies and kit cars (Lazer 917). I never saw a Puma except in magazines. The kit car that tried to be a Dino was the Kelmark GT. Bradley GT's were built right here in town. I remember when they did one for Liberace, outrageous metalflake and air conditioning, I don't remember the color. It's been most of 20 years since I saw a dune buggy until last year. There is a small shop near me, it looks like they have resurected some "barn finds".
