Hi. Please point me in the right direction if needed - I've searched for a while. I'm looking for a pair of non-working Dinoplex boxes to use on a 71-73 Daytona which already has a pair of MSD6As. Am I barking up an empty tree? Has someone cast replacements?
    TIA

Hello. I'm afraid my English is not well enough to understand. Do you have two dinoplex boxes? Either dead, burnt-out, or already converted???
    Thank you.

You are looking for the small Dinoplex AEC 103A with the blue label. They are now and then available at oldtimer shows/fairs and meetings in Europe such as Techno Classica or at the Padua meeting in Italy. On eBay you see maybe one or two per year. Most if not any of the AEC 103A offered on car shows and meetings are dead, so don't spend too much money on them. Typical prices for dead units are $100-$250 depending on the condition.

The only recast i know of has been done by Superformance for their Super4 ignition.

MSD 6A internals won't fit into an AEC 103A box but the circuit board from a MSD 6AL-2 can be adapted with a bit of work.
