The oil level on my 348 dip stick is a 1/2" above "minimum". How much oil should I add?

I'm asking, because last time I over filled it and had to drain some out. What a pain.

"Immediately after" is open to interpretation (how fast can you move? :D ).

    Hi Wade,

If the oil level is at "minimum", how much do I add to put it just below "maximum"? Quart? Half-quart? Gallon? 2-barrels? A tanker? (hahaha)

    LOL

At "minimum", I'd add 1/2 a quart and then test it again. And another 1/2 after that if necessary.

    I like testing. :)

The hardest part of checking the oil on my 348 was spotting it on the dip stick!

The oil was so bloody clean, it was hard to make out! (I checked it with the engine idling, and straight after switching the engine off, and it was definitely between the two marks, but bloody hard to spot!)

Never had that issue with my old battered BMW's! :D
