Maybe it's just me but why does a dirty (OK patinaed0 car get so much money?
over $800K. I mean it's not a Ferrari or maserati, why is this car so precious?
Or is it the I-discovered-it-in-a-barn aspect?

Why is it worth so much more than the convertible with more upright windscreen and roll up windows?

Or is it lancias in America have been overlooked and now there's a rush to find what else Italian that is undiscovered?

Are owners of restoration shops seeing business disappear now that you can sell a schumtzig (sp?) car?

My opinion is: this was just a whim of a wealthy buyer in the room, nobody will buy back the car at that price anymore.
