Been buying 355s for 10 years now from auction houses. There will always be buyers who are fresh in the 355 market who will overpay at the auctions. Not sure if this was the sellers first 355, but, if he is asking 56, this means one thing, he paid high 30s. Not sure why they would run up the numbers but it may have to do with failing to do their homework on labor and parts costs. Next thing they know they r asking a clean title $$ for a salvage car and no buy at 41. This car should have been sold at 41 if bought correctly.

Steve - you might be missing that they did the repairs to the car and that was costly for sure.

That too. Agreed. It's their money not mine but just saying. I'm sure it was a great car before the damage and it may still be a great car but at 56k ???? I hope it sells and hope the buyer is a happy camper. Doesn't affect my bank account

The car was stripped of some parts before the insurance company auctioned it off. A friend of mine bought the seats and capristo out of it, so no telling what else was sold off of it. It's due for a major. I can provide the full service records to the new owner. Just hit me up.

According to Eric, the car has been in three seperate accidents and is cursed. Aside from color, it will never be a great car. Seller will need an ignorant buyer.

Yes, I can attest to the car being cursed. I owned the car several years ago and sold it after it was hit a few days after I got it out of the body shop. Rather than fix it, I took the insurance money and sold the car as is to Ed Zabinski out of Atlanta. The main reason he bought the car was because it still had the factory sport seats in it (which was a big reason for me choosing this 355 to begin with!). Ed took the sport seats out and put them in his 355 GTS, then fixed the car and sold it to Eric.

It's a shame to hear that the car was picked for parts. At one time it was a special 355 with the blue color and sport seats. I live close to the seller and was gonna go look at it in person. But, I've lost interest due to its sad history.

Very true. But, lately the traffic of members seem really low.

It can still be a good car if an inspection checks out.
