Cool! I love the Disco Volante, and I love the 8C too. Sucks that one has to be taken apart so the other can exist, but them's the rules...

Very cool to know that you got the last 8/8.

What color will she be painted in?

Yes it is, and probably most would opt for red.

but 8th would be in Liquid Metal (see photo attached) with Carbon Waistline rather than aluminium

as for the interior colour I'm thinking primary color would be dark cherry (have not finalise it yet)

waiting for their proposal and paint & leather sample to be conceive

ETA would be on the 15th or 16th of may.

will post when I got it.

Liquid Metal looks excellent. Dark Cherry for the interior looks nice (Very Alfa) too, although I would probably opt for a really dark brown (like in the 997 Sport Classic), and I would definitely opt for a Gunmetal Grey Anodised wheels and beltline to "match" the Carbon Fibre details. Because I feel Black Anodised might compliment a white Disco Volante more than yours.

But anyway, how do you feel now as you know that car Nr.1 has won it's class awards at this year's Villa d'Este?

yes brown interior (but quite a bit Matte Aluminum F12ish w/ Brown Interior Combination)(saw this combination somewhere) this was my 3rd choice my 2nd one is neonish green leather (too crazy)

but I opt for a Dark Cherry-Dark Bordeaux (see attached) (Illumination would still be white)

beltline has been change to carbon finish.

that wheel finish is my second choice but I decided using Gloss Black one to match Liquid Metal.

sent my congratulations to the team yesterday , was hesitant at first as the competition is tough & beautiful (i.e. CC100 & Sergio)

it was nice to win the award won by Sig.Glickenhaus p4/5 last 2007

also I'll update photos toward the end of the week

lastly we are in talks with an Italian Audio Manufacturer for a bespoke system for 8th

can't say who now as we are still finalising the deal but great news is that both companies are eager on the project.

    keep you guys posted

    Looking great!

By the way, will they (Touring) allow a customer such as yourself to omit the 190mm Touring badge on the boot lid?

Because I certainly would, plus I would request the front badge to be Alfa Romeo too. But, I would definitely keep the dual Touring Superleggera script on the bonnet.

wouldn't really know... do you want me to open that question to them?
but they really do look enormous on the render but just right on the actual car (see attached photos)

and as for for the front badge, we started this car prior alfas endorsement on the project.

they asked me which one I prefer as alfa wants their badge on the DV8 and others

but I told them look I prefer the original badge but if you can make it interchangeable I'd be grateful

they agreed so they are suppling me both of the badges. best of two worlds.

also calipers are back from brembo finished in bordeaux color.

Looks incredible so far. I am surprised to see a metal body though, isn't the 8C carbon bodied?
