    Just disconnected door open buzzer under dash. Was to loud and annoying.

    Has anyone had experience with this?

    What else is connected to it?

    I put some foam and tape around it until it was a bearable level.

    I guess that's an easy fix but I just unplugged it.

    It's such a horrible noise. When I've had a passenger in the car they even said what's that noise?

    I guess it was a good sound in the 90's....

    I thought about unplugging it, but it seemed like it had a lot of wires going to it, and the plug was stiff. I just wasn't in the mood for adventure that day.

    The sound matches the alarm beep... your right very 90's! Funny how that sound completely disappeared from the auto industry and now we have the horn. I guess it is cheaper to use the horn and not have to have a seperate speaker.

    I have never heard mine....hmm where is tis located and just opening door makes it beep?

    Maybe on the Spiders it could cause a problem with the top function?

    I don't think mine even works.

    Previous owner may have disconnected it.

    Just in case someone comes across this thread.....as someone else noted if you have a spyder, you may not want to disconnect this because of the warning beeps for the top. I just muffled mine.

    I think there has to be other warnings sounds connected to this.
    I don't want to play Russian roulette either.
    That's why probably will reconnect or maybe there is a new one with better sound?
