Been looking at Recaro LS-C seats for comparison. They are close, but not exact. Maybe 80% close. 355 seats have its own unique touches. Just enough to set them apart.

Now that's more like it. A full lever kit for £10 plus tax is a very fair ask.

Let's hope they are a better quality than the part I received.

    Great information dickyb.

ok you may be correct, apologies if I am wrong and have misled anyone,I don’t have a set of both seats to compare directly but certainly they do look very similar. What may have happened with Ferrari is that they may have used the Recaros as a guide and then produced their own copy. I believe this happened elsewhere in the Fiat group, the second series Lancia Delta HPE has seats labelled as “Lancia by Recaro” whereas the Fiat Coupe from the same era and based on the same platform had identical looking seats but no Recaro branding anywhere. As far as the shape of the bolsters etc goes, the 355 and Recaro LS-C look the same to me, there are often differences in the side plastic trims depending on the car they are fitted to, for example I have factory LS-Cs in my Alfa Romeo, these have different side plastic trims to those fitted to something like a Ford Sierra Cosworth or an E30 Alpina which are in turn very different to the side trims fitted to the LS-Bs fitted to mk2 VW Golf despite the basic seat architecture being the same
