the 206 GT suppose to be fitted with Magneti Marelli distributor S 125 AX-15°.
I assume, that during production that changed to Typ S 125 BX-15°.

206 GT owner, can you please check your distributor and tell me which one is fitted in your car. Easy to figure out, just have a look at the type plate.

    Many thanks.

    Regards Matthias

great, a BX, as I thought

very likely only the prototypes had an AX distributor, all productions cars I know have a BX
(Ferrari claims in the "operating, maintenance and service handbook" it must be an AX)

    Many thanks Gregg.

    Regards Matthias

i have an old Factory letter from 1969 with the subject of "206 GT and 246 GT S125 BX Marelli Distributor"..
and says " above mentioned distributor fitted in the 246 GT engine may also be employed in the 206 GT engine in replacement of the other type Marelli S125 AX. "

    regards
