So, we're making the decision to ditch cable. The ONLY reason up to now to keep cable was SpeedTV.

After a 2-week test run of streaming Netflix to the TV, we found we had only watched cable TV a handful of hours and most of that was on BBC America to watch Top Gear...and I know I can find that elsewhere.

What about F1, Aussie V8 Series, Brit Touring Car, etc? Has anyone found some really good internet sites (even pay sites) where you can watch live racing?

I found http://streamdirectsports.com/, www.sportslivenow.com/F1, and www.f1.events-coverage.com/ but didn't know if anyone else has used any of these sites.

justin.tv when they can get away with it! usually links to another host that has the site running the races. usually european channels, like BBC.

Greg - have you called to cancel yet? You'll find they don't want to lose you, and likely will offer you a deal. That's what happened to me.

I did an inventory of all the programs my kids and wife watched. Every single show my kids likes was on Netflix (streaming) and all others were on Hulu Plus and ABC.com.

The only remaining reason we had cable was racing and I couldn't justify $100+ a month just for that. I'm doing some more in-depth research today as I need to have something in place for the Australian GP!

Greg, it's NOT an issue. I have had NO TV or cable for a long time and have not missed an F1 race.

Peter...can you shoot me a PM on your solution? I've seen a lot of websites that promise complete coverage, but in the fineprint, many of these sites reveal they provide links to other sites?? In the end, many of the reviews seemed to be dead ends. Much appreciated!
