To make a Scubbing bubbles even more effective buy garden spraying and a couple gallons of distilled water and a disposable paint brush for a super deep clean and no water spots, you would be surprised at how much minerals are in regular water and work its way down in nook and cranny's minerals are deposited , and you do not even have to dry off the water distilled has no minerals no spots . Wend using a garden sprayer has very little water pressure so want do not worry so much about over rinsing and getting in to the electrical system. Another must have tool air compressor is fanatic for blowing out dust from hard to reach places. I have never use regular water hose on my 360 just blow off every thing with compressed air and spray wipe. I would like to take credit for all this stuff but I can not, I learn this from other OSD car nuts and mechanics this is there old tricks for detailing and long use and care

    $100.00 a can? Yikes! It's $12.00 at Costco for a pack of 4.

    You're welcome.

So seriously,,... the scrubbing bubbles doesn’t degrade any of the wiring? If not, the looks are simply incredible. Dans the man

Have you tried Costco?... I'll go there in the next couple of weeks and have a look and will post back here with my findings.

    @Jerry:

    Thanks for posting photo.

Wow, 1st just want to say it got that bad simply due to years and years of neglect................

2nd and before I forget, your power steering cap is seeping oil. Replace that ASAP to keep your engine clean. No need to buy Ferrari Power Steering Cap. They are outrageously expensive. Our power steering cap is the same as what they use on BMW's. BMW power steering caps are much much cheaper without the Ferrari Tax. I have a post on that subject here somewhere. Kindly do a search and replace that cap ASAP to keep your engine bay clean.

3rd: Follow my procedures and clean your engine bay with scrubbing bubbles and it will be super clean. You will be amazed as your engine bay will look brand new.

Now back to your question: You can probably polish that by following the same technique as detailing car paint. But I doubt it will look as good as new.....
That may need to be repainted. And it shouldnt be that expensive. Just find a reputable local paint shop close to you.

    Hope that helps.

    Dan

Dang ok man , muchos gracias. The power steering cap is the black cap ya? With the rubber housing ?
When you say scrubbing bubbles , you’re referring to the toilet foam/gel cleaner right ?

    Yes there is.

Go and buy Mequires Hot Tire Shine. It is around 90% silicone.

    https://www.amazon.com/Meguiars-Shine-High-Gloss-Spray/dp/B0009IQXXG/ref=sr_1_3?keywords=meguiars+hot+tire+shine&qid=1558788429&s=gateway&sr=8-3-spell

Using a stencil brush (what I use)

    https://www.amazon.com/FolkArt-50614E-Stencil-Original-Version/dp/B01LSY3J68/ref=sr_1_15?keywords=art+stencil+brush&qid=1558788615&s=gateway&sr=8-15

work it into your surface, don't spray it on. Let is set for a few minutes then wipe off with a MF towel. Works excellent on faded black items as well. By wiping it off you lose the gloss. Also this stuff once dry does not wipe off or rinse off with water. Additionally by wiping it off, much like the Groits, it will be a satin finish. Again do not spray it.

    You will be amazed.

Sadly scrubbing bubbles isnt readily available where i'm from. Would make it quite costly to ship it over :(.
This will probably be off-topic, but have you tried "Simple Green" products?
and/or is there a secondary viable alternative?
Need to find something available locally, otherwise the shipping might cost more than the product itself.
    Cheers!

I use simple green pro HD cleaner and degreaser (diluted). Works great. We have scrubbing bubbles in our house but I haven’t tried it on my car. It’s great on toilets though lol
Whatever you use, you will have to use something after to bring back the shine/colour. I use Gunk engine detailer. Really shiny.
I suppose armour all would work too if you have some lying around,

The one I use is meant to be diluted, as a concentration.
Haven’t found the need to use full strength.

    Yes and Yes.

The power steering cap is the black one. Always refer to your Owners Manual. Read it front to back often so you get to enjoy your nice car to its fullest.

And yes, Scrubbing Bubbles bathroom cleaner. I used it again on my F430 Engine today and it looks awesome.

Can’t get hold of scrubbing bubbles locally , sadly . Have opted for simple green extreme Motorsports degreaser and finish with armor all silicon tire foam, will feedback here if it’s remotely decent heh.
If anyone has tried either and had bad results , feel free to give me a heads up.
    Thanks guys !
(NB: just trying to follow the same concept as suggested here , with whatever I can get my hands on locally.)

I'm back with some updates on having tried my modified version using the same concept as the OP.
Using "Simple Green extreme Motorsports degreaser" in place of "Scrubbing bubbles" and then finishing up with "Armor All detailer's advantage tire foam".

Did anyone end up trying scrubbing bubbles on other parts (e.g. calipers)?
