Reaching out to see if anyone has any DIY instructions for removing the 4 side marker lights and 2 reflector lights. I'm planning on dropping them off to my paint guy to have them tinted.

I really don't want to have to remove the bumpers to do this. any insight or hints?

the manual specifies bringing the car to the dealer to change the bulbs (!)

    TIA!

bit the bullet and tried it anyways...PITA.

I'll post up my own tips in case anyone else is looking for this info in the future.

    FRONT:
Front ones are accessed by removing the wheel well liner vents. You don't need to neccessarily need to remove the wheel, as you can just turn the wheel in the same direction of the side your working on, but it helps.
Removing the entire liner makes it much easier. At first I just pushed it to the side and worked around it, but found it a lot easier to access the (2) 8mm nuts
    with it removed.

    REAR:
The rear ones will require you to remove the wheel and liner again. Next, I found it easier to remove the rear diffussor and loosen the aluminum heat shields just above the exhaust tips. There are (2) 13mm and (1) 10mm bolts holding the shield on.
With the liner out, you should be able to slip the shield out through the wheel opening.

You'll now have adequate access to the rear side markers and also the reflectors in the rear. All held by 8mm nuts as well.

Good luck and give it a try. Be patient and you'll have it done in no time.
Keep in mind that my local dealer wanted 3.5 hours of labor for this!

I'll post pictures once they get tinted...

Thanks for the write up. I'm actually swapping out some tinted ones for the originals so I'll have to go through this in the near future.
