Great DK video with James Cottingham narrating about 2 250 GT SWB California Spiders with Covered Headlights, 2871GT and 3119GT, and why he thinks this model is "the best all round convertible Ferrari ever built" as well as their restoration.

I wonder what James thinks of the 275 GTB/4 NART Spyder?

Nice video Steven, with 2 cars is just perfect!

Do you know which car was the real competitor for the California at this time?

I agree that it is the greatest car of all time, SWB or LWB, doesn't matter to me. And I would even suffer with the open headlights if necessary.

It is the essence of cool.

If I owned one I would drive it daily, forget the price.

Wonder how they forgot to install over-riders on the bumpers. Period photos show them on both cars.

Doubt they forgot. I'm sure they chose to remove them....same as on many restorations of Aston Martin DB4's and DB5's. Some owners prefer to have no over-riders.

Clever idea to make them look like fakes.
