    Just a technical query here..I see lots of reference to crank sensors here. My question here is..do 1980 400is with autos have them..just curious for future need. Thank you all so very much in advance..Jacques.

    Hi Jacques, No 400i has a crank sensor originally but they do have a pickup sensor on the side of the distributor. However the 412 does have crank sensors as it uses ignition computers instead of a distributor.
