Seems like all I've seen do. Is this standard? Might look okay without, in my mind, not that I'm looking to buy, just curious.

Fender shields are an option just like the other models, there is an owner on here that didn't spec the shields on his FF.

    Two actually.
I just didn't think it looked good inside that little indent. Normally I like the shield although my wife's comment "Do you really need anything else to say it's a Ferrari?" has some merit.

Thanks, I think it looks better without as well, it's not a racing car! Same with the 308s I was going to put them on, but realized that 308s never had them or a real racing heritage. PLUS, owning and driving a Ferrari is reward in itself, advertising that you own and drive a Ferrari is a bit overt to me, that's why my 308 is black, sort of discreet.

I agree about the racing car thing- because thats the history of course. But I think with modern Ferraris, its clear the factory is willing to do it so it comes down to personal taste. Where I draw the line is whats the essence of the car, and that can even be influenced by color. So for example on a pozzi/ cuoio (gentleman's express) FF, I'd go sans shields. But on a rosso car, I think I'd go with them. Thats just me.
