i have never come across a pair. i do not know anyone who has come across a pair. i have heard of them, but don't have any proof that they exist. they only examples i have seen don't lead me to believe they ever existed. the examples shown were covers made from beach towels, not something i would ever belive ferrari produced.

does anyone have "real" beach covers or any photos of them?

    shawn.

I think I saw one photo of them in an article about the 206. I'll check the library tomorrow and see where it was. If I can find it, I'll post a picture.

We talking about full covers, or just the center inserts?

the center insert was part of the seats. i know that cloth inserts were very common. in fact, the post on another thread showing terry cloth inserts prompted this thread.

supposedly, the "beach covers" were full seat covers that could be placed over the actual seat. i have never figured out why ferrari would have offered these on dino's , if they did, and not other cars. i think the whole idea is a derivation of other options and not real.

    Ahhh...

Ok, so we're talking a Ferrari issue Terri cloth seat cover, that was called a "beach cover".

Don't think I've seen that, but I'll look again.

Dennis McCann was had a set years ago. He was offered a bunch of them but only took one set as he thought nobody would want them. He said they were a Ferrari part.
