Do Ferrari's have a certain smell...?

Well all the ones I've been in, have a slight hint of womens perfume

 

Well, the only Ferrari ive been in is my 348. And that smells of tits and ass!!

 

Mine smells the best after some juicy farts half an hour after some Big Mac's.

Mine smelled great saturday night after having chinese food.

 

Same in my 355!

 

actually mine does. i suppose the dye used on the leather and the proximity of the gas tanks give it a unique bouquet. being a gtb rather than a gts may have something to do with it too. i smell it as soon as i go into the garage. i love the smell of ferrari in the morning, it smells like victory...

 

Every Honda I ever had smelled great the first month you had it, then it later smelled of plastic and mold - if its humid or the headliner got wet, you were stuck with it for weeks.

My old Audi smelled like a Coach store. New Audis don't smell at all.

When I was in school, my neighbor's Jag had, hands-down, the best Connolly leather smell I've ever experienced.

Old Bentleys and Aston Martins smell like museums.

Lexus smells like carpet.

My Mercedes always have a musky leather and paint scent to them.

Finally, all Ferraris seem to have a crisp mechanical smell with slight wiffs of fine leather.

I think you will find that the smell of leather permeates all other interior smells during the passage of time.

My garage has never smelt so good after my 348 has been parked in it for a while after a good run out. The smell stays for days. A distintive smell that just says....WOW. Just trying to get it to permiate around the house!!!!

 

I had three Porsches (all air cooled) before the Ferrari, and I know exactly what you mean. The Ferrari does have the smell in question, but not as strong as the Porsche. The funny part is that the smell is exactly the same of that of the Porsche but about half the intensity.

 

Probably the RMS marking it's territory?

 

The ones that I have been in smell like fine leather. Lambos smelled remarkably similar.

 

every ferrari i've been in has a leather smell, but each is different. i can tell which ferrari i'm in by the smell!
