I am in the market to purchase a low mileage 360 modena, I am unsure whether to purchase the US model or Euro? What should I look for? Did a carfax report already on a Euro model checked out ok, but some US models out there seem to have had 3 owners or more. What are your thoughts?

Buy us model only!! When i purchased my 02 360 i looked at euro models. What i found out from honest dealers like dc motors was that euro's are hard to finance and much worse on resale, average 10k less.

    Just a thought!

IMO still not worth the potential can of worms and typically difficult resale. Also the Euro car takes an approx. 20% hit.

I know of a certain 1999 Euro 360 that's faster than the average 2004 Stradale...

Wouldn't the overall depreciation % be the same? The Euro's sell for less but you also get in for less.

I know of a certain 1968 nova thats faster than any 360 built! But that still does not change the fact that a us car hold better resale and easier to finance. Yes with gold credit there always a bank that will finance any car. Why limit your self when you want to sell. Pay a little more get a better car and enjoy.

    Just a thought!

First of all there is nothing wrong with a Euro 360 if you are buying it "price adjusted" already. You are paying less for it and will therefore sell it for less. If the car is a 1999 - 2002 model year car it is already out of warranty. Repairs will be the same on both cars. Traditionally the Euro cars are faster cars, weigh less, etc. My 360 that I sold to Cig1 is a 2000 Euro car and it is one of the best Ferraris I have ever owned. It was literally maintenance free. My two Stradales have been to the dealer more times than my Euro 360. It comes down to the being a clean car at the right price. Being Euro does not make it inferior in any other way. Financing and insuring is not a problem.

It only works if you can steal it. Otherwise you have a finite buyer base when it comes time to sell that'll be ready to beat you up. :)
