My CS doesn't have "the stripe"

I'm torn between originality - or a decal. What do you think?

Tough one. When (not if) the day comes for me to buy a Stradale, I am hoping to find a black or yellow without stripe. If either red presents itself, I would prefer it had the stripe. Would I care if it was applied after ??? ... not sure. I'd probably want a significant discount if the stripe wasn't on the original window sticker.

Truth be told, I would take almost ANY Stradale that met my budget.

With that being said, if I were in your shoes, I'd go for the decal

Obviously I'm going to be bias, but IMHO it's the finishing touch. :)
Our product is done in a high gloss clear coat finish and is indistinguishable from the painted stripe unless you look very closely, with all the convenience of a decal, we even supply a spare hood segment incase it gets stone chipped.
Also 10% discount for FChat members. :)

Either one, you should go for the stripe.
If you have extra 6-8k go for the originality, or else the site above has a beautiful decal ( I got one from them).

I say do it. If you don't like it you can always remove it. At F-car events with a sea of red F cars you need to distinguish youself!

I love the stripe, and even better if the next owner has the option of removing it if desired. Go for it.

I guess it won't hurt to buy the decal and give it a try. I guess if I REALLY don't like it, I can remove it with a heat gun... Now alll I need to go is to get my vinyl guy a heads-up! No way in hell I'm gonna try to do it...

I have different POV re the stripe. If it wasn't installed by the factory during production then I say you should keep the car stock if you intend to sell it. Anything aftermarket is a "story" no matter how trivial it may seem. If you don't mess with it you have no issue.
If you intend to keep the CS forever, by all means give it a stripe, paint a flag on it, like one that was posted here once, or modify it any way you want, but for resale, originality is prized

Thats the cool thing about the decal.... Use it till you want to sell the car - then remove it. It's not like it wasn't a factory option.

I reckon the CS stripe looks awesome and IS the finishing touch on the car. I would fit a CS stripe/sticker while you own the car and then remove it, if you ever wish to sell the car. :):)

    Those cars are just NASTY!!!

Seriously.....my opinion may be slightly jaded. But why would anyone buy any late model 360 variant other than a CS? Cost wise, they seem to be pretty close, but the driving experience is as different as..... well, you just have to drive both to know what i mean.

YES. Do the stripe. It looks awesome, sets the CS apart from the crowd, and with vinyl you have the flexibility to remove it if you change your mind.

I would say there are some owners that dont really drive their cars, nor appreciate the performance difference, and are happy having a prancing horse to tote around more comfortably. Or maybe they feel more comfortable putting miles on a Modena. But you are absolutely right.. for the slight difference, its so much more car...

In price.. yes I believe so. Comparing similar 04 Modena to CS. Maybe 20-25k? What you actually get is much more than 25K IMHO
