Anyone that asks "why" they should buy an F430, shouldn't. Keep reading FChat posts and one day you'll understand--and possibly then be ready to own one. :)

Everyone WANTS to buy a Ferrari... unfortunately, very few people CAN or WILL buy a Ferrari. If you have the means to do it, and are truly a car buff, you won't be disappointed.

As far as the people taking a big loss, well, that is part of what goes along with buying any exotic item. Very few things in life appreciate in value... If you want something, and can afford it, the depreciation cost is typically not something you worry about... its just part of the cost of ownership...... If you are worried about this... then surely do not buy new, and maybe don't buy at all.

No you really don't right now.

Wait until it has depreciated to under 10k or just wait for the new F845 to come out for it surely will eclipse the 430 in performance.

Are you asking why people buy and then sell - so what may cause you to sell after you buy? Some overextended themselves financially, some divorce, you name it. But if you can buy one, buy one. You will not regret it. There is a reason behind every car for sale. It ranges from, "Had children, needed a family car to my job took me to New York and no longer have a garage."

Don't be discouraged by the fact there are 430's for sale. Buy one and enjoy it. Life is short.

I apologize to the op for the sarcasm.........but the question is a very personal one and a ton of variables come into play. Its different for every single person. So asking it in "general" makes no sense to me. But then what the hell do I know!

I have noticed many of the dealers have 430's for sale due to the owner choosing to simply -upgrade- Why.... cuz they can!

Other than that, I am greatfull to the super rich guy that is taking the 100K + hit for me, so I can have a 2k to 4k mile gem and a price that "I consider affordable"

F845 is probably the electrical engine size. The 430 will be a museuem piece of how the internal combustion engine worked.

That's exactly the configuration I would get. Perfect.

Should sell in the 115-122k range.
