I keep seeing Ferrari luggage for sale on f-chat..have to admit, I almost picked up a set for my 355 but only because someone put a craigslist posting on here for about $400 (sold pretty quickly at that price). But some of the prices of this stuff.. do people actually use these things? I'd imagine it is just a collectible, but the prices of some of these sets are pretty high- even with that 355 set, part of me would have been wondering why I paid $400 for something to sit in the closet unused :) I don't travel in my car, and so was just going to buy them "because"- but the prices for luggage seem more ridiculous than some of the asking prices for tool kits! (luckily I sourced a tool kit in great shape for about $400 as well to since my car was missing it when I purchased the car)

Seems like more of a collectible to me, too. I would expect that as the leather aged, it would lose durability for actual travel use and continue to deteriorate with advancing age, thus negating the "investment" aspect of this accessory. Nice to have to check all the boxes for a complete car.

I'm a big proponent of people doing whatever they want with their cars (or any personal property) but I personally don't understand having dried out unused luggage for a car unless you're selling cars every couple years and it brings a higher price. For a used (as in driven frequently) car having nice leather bags for adventures off to far away bed and breakfasts is fun. The non-Ferrari bags we use will be replaced as they wear too badly but a nice patina is great so they may outlast me.

We have a set of the 550 Barchetta luggage (the black and cuoio color ones) and my wife uses the small "backpack" piece on most Ferrari trips.

She just took it on our 6-day road trip to the FCA 2016 Annual Meet in Columbus, OH.

For her, it is a stylish, Ferrari giant purse that fits all the personal things she needs on a multi-day trip.

The small backpack piece gets used all the time, where the other 4 bigger pieces only get used maybe twice a year.
The luggage has held up well, perhaps because the black material isn't leather so it doesn't get dried out like the other sets.

Here is a picture of her from years ago holding it in front of our blue 550 at a local car show.
And, here is a picture of our full set of 5 pieces of 550 luggage.

I have the shelf luggage for the 599 and use it frequently. In addition I acquired a set for the SA and used it in the trunk of the 599 for Cavallino weekend. The 599 is our "trip" car and we have put over 5000 miles on it over the last year. Recently we drove from the FCA Annual in OH to our place in the mountains of NC. Again the shelf luggage as well as some pieces from my 05 QP.

So the answer is definitely yes.....we use all of them in various combinations.

I have the luggage set for the FF, this is not only my daily driver but I travel frequently with my family and the set is very useful fits perfectly in the trunk, I guess if you use your car and or for travel makes sense, if you drive your car only on special occasions the. Maybe not worth the expense

I don't have any Ferrari luggage nor would I use it if I had it. I have no desire to own any.

A three-piece luggage set came with my Cali. Matches nicely with the cioccolata interior. Smells great too. 😀 Looks untouched. Haven't used it yet. I'd love to use it some day for a Ferrari road trip, but, alas, travel is not in the cards for the immediate future...T

We will! Some day. Family obligations conspire against it right now, but the wife and I have a Ferrari road trip near the top of our wish list...T

Fingers crossed for at least a long weekend escape soon for you and the Mrs. in the Cali. Nothing better than a date in an Italian convertible.

Just took a Schedoni 360/430 Ferrari Challenge Garment bag (full leather) with two suits inside with me to Maranello. Great bag. The metal hanger hook and support bar can be fragile.

My Older F355 bags are more collectible items for me because I don't want to see them get scraped up.

Thanks, Chris. That'd be awesome. Thus far it's point A to point A driving. 1000+ miles in seven weeks. I think she loves the Cali as much I do!

Use it for road trips, 1to 2 weeks driving. Ordered it with the 430, it the same leather as the seats in matching color, and I treat it with same conditioner as the seats.

I'm the one who scooped up the $400 set you mentioned. I haven't used it yet because I haven't taken a road trip in the car yet but I do plan to. It's cool that they're Ferrari luggage but I like them because they're not red and plastered with logos. The set looks like an older pair of leather suitcases and since mine are not mint I have no worries about scratching them.

The sticker on my car says it came with luggage, sadly it wasn't included in the car when I purchased it. If I ever find a set of luggage for my 360 spider I'd buy it and use it frequently.

Most of the pieces are similar to the various "Bridge" collections from over the years - made in Florence.
