Do people like models of chassis?

    The example would be a 12 inch model of say the GTO or 57 TR main chassis with the wire frame that the body panels mount to.

    I have welding skills and I'm thinking of making myself a chassis model of the 166 MM chassis. Heck, all that you need is the right hobby tools, some talent and a brazing torch to do it all.

    I definitely do like them. The drawing is the 166 MM chassis?

    Yep. One of my all time fav's. I think a foot long model of that chassis would be a great display piece.

    I've only seen a couple but I think they are pretty cool.

    I'm almost positive you could sell a couple.

    Wow...when I see this my fingers start itching: imagine a GTO welded in 1:12 with the Autograph engine and wheels! or any model with the MG engines.
    BTW I don´t see prizes on the website :)

    I believe EXOTO is coming out with a Ferrari TIPO 156 sharknose gift set with one of the models being a rolling chassis of the 156.......

    Creative Miniature Associates has done chassis for clients such as this 1/14 scale Ferrari 166MM Barchetta. They make extremely detailed and accurate pieces. Very impressive.
