...betting with credit cards in Las Vegas or is it done only with cash?
A friend of mine is leaving and I never gambled outside with cash so I can't help him out.
Thanks in advance, please explain how it works there so I can help out a friend also.

Vegas-based Global Cash Access Holdings, Inc. is principal supplier of on-floor Cash Advance/ATM machines for Casinos. Regardless of Card's parent company, on site, one can withdraw against their available Cash Balance, but will have a fee added to transaction.

    GCA owns Arriva.

Arriva has something new - a Credit Card with Casinos in mind.

IMHO, gambling on credit is an even worse idea than buying a Ferrari on credit...

BTW, the "fee" is a hefty 10% of what you take out. So, you've just decreased your chances of walking away with more money than you started with by a substantial amount. Learn how to play craps and blackjack...those are your best odds.
