    The interior's of the 456 and 550 are very similar. What I dislike about the 550 is the carpet behind the gear box shifter going to the rear

    Funny you should post this, I just made one this week and it's at the upholstery right now getting covered in leather matching the interior.

    I have an allergy problem and always need a box of Kleenex handy, It will hold that and the cell phone mount plus sun glasses, keys, and etc.

    I'll have it back and installed sometime late next week.

    The 575M had a rear glove box option. This covered more of the tunnel with leather and hardware.

    For a class leading (maybe world leading) GT car I have ALWAYS thought that was a HUGE oversight and frankly just idiotic! I was wondering the same thing about an aftermarket solution to this...still dreaming of my perfect 575 F1!

    In Forza there was a company or two advertising aftermarket 550 armrests.

    Don- Not a whole lot of aftermarket interior parts for Maranellos. Here is the factory rear glovebox from Ricambi's online parts catalog. Perhaps Daniel at Ricambi might be able to help. No prices in their on-line parts catalog for the glovebox. Was an approximate $500 option on the 575M.

    Interior leather work is very inexpensive compared to buying original Ferrari parts. A good upholsterer should be able to turn your whole tunnel into matching leather for less than $1500 if you like. Will not be original, but only you, other Maranello owners, and concourse judges will know the difference. If it looks great and makes you happy, who cares? My 575M will have a Superamerica instrument panel and already has an SA HGTC exhaust. Not too worried about originality as long as the basic car is unmolested and form and function are improved.
