Hey guys, In my continuing efforts to demonstrate to my wife that you can in fact turn to F-chat for just about anything in life...I am now asking for some help. I've got a project I'm working on, it involves using 3 tracks of music, one of them is the opening scene from Phantom of the Opera, it's that song that comes at the auction when they illuminate the chandelier...it's the most classic piece of them all. I actually have the CD, but can only find disc 2...and the song I want is on disc 1. I've turned the house upside down, the local music store is out-of-stock and I'm too dumb to know how to use itunes to buy it. Can anyone please email me that song, I need to burn it to a CD. That or tip me off to how I can get it off the internet free/cheap. Thanks!
..and if you wish, I also snagged a house/trance/techno version and a punk cover by Blink 182. Weird how it still sounds good in all three versions.
Thanks FU-CMY I posted the thread last night at 1:30am, this morning I wake-up, drag my butt over to the computer and find an email with the song. I uploaded it onto my desktop and in less then 4 minutes had it (along with another song) burned to a CD...AMAZING (I'm easily amazed granted).... Thanks Chris!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! - Steve
I cannot stand that movie. My mom and grandmother watch it all the time. The even have the music put on a cassette for them so they can listen to it in the car. Its driving me crazy!!!!!!!
See...that's just plain wrong. It's clearly your wife's and kids jobs to drive you crazy!!!! I can take the movie about once a month, it's basically a gothic chick-opera thing. I'm putting together a Halloween Hummer Hayride of Horror, details to come and pics to be posted....but the music choice is clearly Phantom & Manheim Steamroller's Halloween mix. It's gonna be killer.
If you ever get a chance to see the actual play, it is much better, IMO. Parts of the movie were good, but it is hard to translate a play into film.
movie sucks. Play is much better. I love the CD from the play, i can listen to it nonstop. In fact I think ill put it on now.
