Such upgrades may simply make a car more sell-able. But for the most part I've never seen any of my cars sell for more $$ because of upgrades. And most guys would ask if I still had all the OEM stuff to go with the sale of the car.

Barry, it is not possible to generalize this. For some, upgrades are worth more, for others not. It´s like argue what color looks best..

Sorry, I do not understand the cause of the question, it feels quite obvious.

KC has this one right. May make it appealing bit not worth much/any extra.

if it has carbon seats or CS original mirror, that'll be a huge plus, i think.
cs front bumper and rear bumper or side skirts would be huge plus as well
    cs wheels, yes
cs rear grille (not the Modena option), yes
Tubi, somebody see it as a nay, for example, me.

Not much if any, value-wise, but they may help the selling process. My car came with Challenge wheels (which I hate), I sold them, bought starfish and put a few grand into the car.

One man's modification is another man's molestation. So, I question even the use of the term "upgrade". As an example, I see no reason to change anything on the CS.

Wow, you hate the challenge wheels? I’m shocked. What are your thoughts about putting the standard silver split 430 wheels on a 360?

I think that was very well said. I’m buying a Modena with the modifications listed. I would agree that a CS is good to go out the box.

I sold modulars for starfish and I love them. In addition to looking great and going well with the 360 design, they are possibly the easiest wheels to clean that have ever been made.

not worth materially more - if yes then almost immeasurable. like KC said cld make a car easier to sell. choose the wrong mods and then it makes it harder. there is no winning.

Haha! Definitely wasn't my most popular opinion, I did look at wheels for awhile and decided I really didn't like anything...for me, anything other than the modulars or the starfish take away from the car, it's almost distracting. I'm a big fan of 5 spoke wheels...plus my challenge wheels were "ball polished", which were a bit too blingy. Here is the car before Iswapped them out:

Yes, that's an excellent point also. I enjoy washing my cars, but I HATE cleaning wheels, doesn't make much sense, but anything to ease that process is a plus.

The mods in the OP, IMO are subtle and generally appealing as they have a functional element and are nearly OEM items.
Not the same as 20” dubs and a body kit.
But they aren’t a dollar for dollar kind of upgrade.
As a seller, I’d likely take off the wheels and sell them separately to maximize returns.
Most ppl appreciate the upgraded exhaust as well as the cooling benefits from the challenge grill. I think these 3 items plus a stereo are the most common mods for these cars. For good reasons.

Weighing in on the wheel side discussion, I have 19”CS wheels....I like them, they aren’t my favorite though, and they are getting to be too common now.
    For me, Scud > CS>430> modular=starfish.
I’d rank the starfish higher if they were just bigger. It’s their size that bothers me most. Modular do nothing for me,

agree with I 360 canuck... (take off eh!).......

but I would consider the loss of value when doing mods on a car you plan to sell in the next 18 mo's..... waste of money IMHO.

I like the Starfish OEM wheels - PO painted them black on mine and i'm a fan. Only upgrades i'm thinking about doing are possibly some spacers and lower a bit, not even sure i will do that, the car already looks pretty perfect.

One must have upgrade though if your car didn't come with it is the Challege front & rear grills- really increase the "appeal" of the car

Remember... the F1 Transmission was a $10K upgrade over the stick!

When I was searching for a 360 Spider some 6 years ago I built a spreadsheet of how various options affected asking price.
Shields, Daytona Electric Seats, Challenge Rear Grill and Modular Wheels each bumped up the prices. The option's value was worth approximately only 1/3 the original price when it came to resale so adding them later on (to enhance future resale-ability) didn't make financial sense.

My spreadsheet only considered OEM options; aftermarket "upgrades" like custom wheels, body kits and wings were a negative.

That is an impressive study with interesting results. Like previously mentioned, for maximum resale value, you may be better off to return the car to stock and sell off the mods.

It depends on the new buyer. Some guys want all stock cars (so if you do any upgrades, hold onto the stuff you remove). Some people, like me, appreciate thoughtfully done upgrades like wheels and exhaust. I'd recommend you not put a wing on the back as that would really narrow your customer base.

The CS was deliberately crippled by Ferrari so as not to be too quick around Fiorano.. The center bells being made of heavy steel vs lightweight alloy as used on Challenge and 430 Scuderia is a perfect example. Nothing is perfect, everything in engineering can be improved. Style is subjective...
